Eagle Run Fundraiser

This is our one big fundraiser of the year—and we need everyone’s help so our children can SOAR all year long! Register Your Student HERE (https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/peer-to-peer/donate-to-make-a-difference-1257) The Eagle Run is a fun, high-energy fundraiser where students run laps around the school’s bus loop to support PTO programs all year long! Each grade has a scheduled run time, and classes burst out to festive decorations, signs from our community sponsors, chalk art, and bubbles. Kids run for 15–20 minutes, earning a band for every lap—more bands, more bragging rights! 🎉

Here’s how your contribution makes a difference: • 📚 Teacher Resources: Annual classroom budgets allow teachers to request unfunded classroom supplies, reviewed and approved by the PTO at monthly board meetings. • 🎓 Student Enrichment: Programs like Battle of the Books, Cultural Festival, and the Science Fair inspire curiosity and creativity. • 🚌 Field Trips for All: PTO funds cover the annual field trip costs so every student can participate—no one misses out on the joy of discovery. • 📸 Picture Day & Yearbook: The PTO manages the Yearbook creation, including capturing photos throughout the year and compiling the photos/pages. We also support Picture Day. • 🐾 Student Environment: Meet Diego, our school comfort dog—funded by donations and loved by all. • 🎉 Family Fun & Engagement: Events like School Dances, Movie Nights, Field Day, Donuts with Grown-Ups, and Trunk-or-Treat bring families together. • 🍽️ Teacher Well-Being: We support our educators with conference-night dinners and Teacher Appreciation Week treats. • 🌷 School Beautification: Think the city keeps our school looking great? Nope! It’s the PTO Nest Keepers who roll up their sleeves to handle landscaping, flowers, bushes, trees—everything that makes our school grounds welcoming, safe, and beautiful for your kids. Our incredible Local Business partners fund the T-shirts 👕, sunglasses 🕶️, and yard signs that your child receives, making every student feel part of the celebration. This also allows all student donations to go directly to Moorsbridge events. Please help us support these business partners!

The suggested donation is $75 per student. If that feels out of reach, we’re truly grateful for any amount you choose to give—every contribution makes a difference. Yes! All parents and community members are welcome. We’d love your help cheering, guiding runners, or chalking the walk! Arrive 15 minutes before your child’s run to help decorate the path with chalk.

The t-shirts may be sent with your children in advance of the Eagle Run, or they may receive them day-of the event—teacher’s choice. Your child will have several opportunities to wear this shirt throughout the year. • Shirt colors will match your child’s Eagle Run station – there will be a different shirt color for each classroom, so you should find yours quickly. • Class photos will be taken and shared—no need for every parent to snap their own
